After finishing in the top 5% of his class from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Mustafa Ameen started his legal career at the State Attorney’s office where he prosecuted DUIs.  During his tenure there, he prosecuted over one thousand DUI cases, handled hundreds of motion hearings, and tried over 100 cases. He left the State Attorney’s office in 2008 to start his own law firm where he solely defends individuals charged with DUI.  In addition to his practice, Mr. Ameen is an adjunct professor at Thomas M. Cooley Law School where he teaches Florida DUI law.

Andrew H. Shafii, Esq.

Andrew Shafii is a lifelong resident of Tampa. He graduated from the University of Florida then went on to South Texas College of Law to obtain his law degree. He began his career as an Assistant State Attorney. Because of his skill in trial, Mr. Shafii was quickly promoted by the State Attorney Mark Ober to the felony division where he prosecuted serious crimes including felony DUIs and DUIs with serious bodily injury.  He has handled over 3,500 criminal cases and tried over 100 cases including 50 jury trials. Mr. Shafii’s passion to help individuals and his expertise in criminal and constitutional law has gained him a respected reputation among judges and lawyers.
